Shipping & Returns
Where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide. Phantom Watersports delivers to Europe, North America, Australia, Asia, and beyond. Some remote destinations or countries subject to import restrictions may require additional lead time or specific documentation — our team will notify you at checkout or within 24 hours of your order if this applies.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary by destination and product type:
- Europe: 3–7 business days
- North America & Australia: 7–14 business days
- Rest of the world: 10–21 business days
Large or oversized items (SUP, foil masts, boards, complete wingfoil sets) may require additional transit time due to their dimensions. Estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, the weight and dimensions of your order. We offer free standard shipping on orders over €1200 within Europe.
For large items such as boards or complete foil packages, a flat-rate oversized item fee may apply regardless of order value.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking page. Tracking is updated in real time. If you haven't received a tracking email within 3 business days of your order, please check your spam folder or contact us at support@phantom-watersport.com.
Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
For orders shipped within the European Union, all prices are inclusive of VAT — no additional charges apply on delivery.
For orders shipped outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes, and local VAT are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our prices. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before ordering. Phantom Watersport cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
Orders to the UK are shipped DAP (Delivered at Place) — UK import duties and VAT are payable by the recipient upon delivery.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for items that are unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. To initiate a return, contact our customer service team with your order number and reason for return.
The following items are non-returnable: custom or personalised products, items that have been used on the water, and sale items marked as final sale.
How do I return a damaged or faulty item?
If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@phantom-watersports.com with:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the damage or defect
We will arrange a free return collection and send you a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible. Return shipping for faulty items is fully covered by Phantom Watersport.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear in your account.
You will receive a confirmation email as soon as the refund has been processed.
Product
I'm new to wingfoiling — which setup should I start with?
For beginners, we recommend starting with a larger board (100–120 litres), a front wing with a generous foil surface area (1,300–1,500 cm²). This combination gives you the stability and early lift you need to build confidence on the water.

Are Phantom foils compatible with other brands' boards and masts?
Phantom foils use a US box connection as standard, which is compatible with most major board brands. Our mast base plate also fits standard North American (NA) box systems with the optional adapter, available separately.
If you're unsure whether a specific board or mast is compatible with our foil range, please send us the brand, model, and year — we'll confirm compatibility before you purchase.
What materials are Phantom foils made from?
All Phantom foils are built using high-modulus carbon fibre throughout — wings, mast, and fuselage — with select performance models using ultra-high-modulus carbon and titanium fuselages for maximum stiffness-to-weight ratio. This is the same construction philosophy used in our racing and windfoil competition equipment.
Masts are constructed with layers of carbon for a balanced stiffness and flex profile, optimised for both performance and durability.
How do I choose the right wing size?
Wing size depends primarily on the wind range you ride in and your body weight. As a general guide:
- 3-4 m²: very Strong wind (20–30 kts), lighter or more experienced riders
- 4–5 m²: Strong wind (15–25 kts), lighter or more experienced riders
- 5–6 m²: Medium wind (12–20 kts), all-round use
Many riders own two wing sizes to cover a full range of conditions. Our size guide on each product page includes a detailed wind/weight matrix to help you choose.
Do you offer custom or personalised products?
Unfortunately not, Phantom DOes not offer personalized products yet.
How should I care for and maintain my foil?
To maximise the lifespan and performance of your Phantom foil:
- Rinse all components thoroughly with fresh water after every saltwater session
- Dry completely before storing — avoid leaving assembled in a bag for extended periods
- Check and re-torque all screws and bolts before each session (refer to the torque spec sheet in your product manual)
- Store horizontally or use a dedicated foil bag to prevent wing tip damage
- Inspect the mast base and connection points regularly for wear or micro-cracks

What warranty do your products carry?
All Phantom Watersport products are covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects. This covers structural failures under normal use conditions.
The warranty does not cover: damage caused by impact, incorrect assembly, improper use, saltwater corrosion due to lack of maintenance, or modifications made to the product. To make a warranty claim, contact support with proof of purchase and photos of the defect.
Are spare parts and accessories available?
Yes. A full range of spare parts is available directly on our website, including screws, bolts, mast base plates, adapter kits, foil bags, and replacement wings. If a part you need isn't listed in our shop, contact us with the product name, model year, and component description — we can often source and ship individual parts within a few days.
Order
How do I place an order?
You can order directly through our website. Browse the product pages, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfer.
For custom orders, team packages, or large quantities, please contact our sales team at contact@phantom-watersports.com for a tailored quote and payment terms.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of being placed, provided they have not yet been dispatched. Contact us as quickly as possible at contact@phantom-watersports.com with your order number.
Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be modified or cancelled — you will need to follow our standard return process once the package is received.
I haven't received an order confirmation — what should I do?
A confirmation email is sent automatically as soon as your order is placed. If you haven't received it within a few minutes, please:
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Verify the email address you used at checkout
- Search for an email from contact@phantom-watersports.com
If you still can't find it, contact us with the name and email used at checkout — we can resend your confirmation and verify the order was processed correctly.
Do you offer payment in instalments?
Yes. we offer 3x or 4x interest-free payment via our integrated payment partner at checkout. Simply select the instalment option on the payment page
Is it safe to pay on your website?
Yes. All payments on phantom-watersports.com are processed through an encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never store your card details on our servers. Transactions are protected by 3D Secure (3DS2) authentication where supported by your bank.
Can I place an order by phone or email?
Yes, for customers who prefer not to order online, our sales team can take orders by phone or email, Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm CET. We can also send a secure payment link for phone orders.

Do you sell to retailers and distributors?
No, Phantom watersports is only distributed direct to consumer through the website platform. We only have a showroom in Lorient, address listed in the contact page of the website.
